Spain - Monte Olivos Bible Center

LOCATION
Spain; also includes travel to various other locations in Spain depending upon the length of the internship.

Spain offers two distinct internship opportunities in Baza and the Monte Olivos Bible Center in Córdoba. These are described in separate sections as the ministry activities and requirements vary per location.

LENGTH OF INTERNSHIPS
2-3 months only in June- August-camp & conference season


INTERNSHIP ACTIVITIES
(May vary according to length of internship)

Language and culture learning (modified LAMP approach)
Ministry training and involvement:
Campground maintenance
Cooking and food preparation (for conference goers and campers)
Cleaning
Laundry
Building repair
Gardening / landscaping
Construction

LIVING CONDITIONS
Each intern will live at the Monte Olivos Bible Center in Córdoba. Center staff and missionary team members speak English and Spanish. Staffers are Christians and are involved in one of our local churches in the area. The Bible Center offers simple but comfortable living conditions, similar to a campground or dormitory setting.

Most of the interns’ ministry responsibilities will be carried out at the Bible Center, under the supervision of the local missionaries. They will gather together on a regular basis (usually weekly) with other interns as a team and with supervising missionaries and pastors for fellowship, cultural orientation and debriefing.

Physical strength for daily work (construction, grounds maintenance, cooking, cleaning, etc.)

It is the responsibility of each intern to pay and arrange for each of the above-mentioned items prior to departure.

The following funds are to be sent to IberoAmerican Ministries designated to Spain Internship (specify name of intern) one month prior to arrival.
